경제활동을 아래 4개 요소로 분류하였다.요소: 고용, 생산, 소비, 투자 경기는 보통 주기적으로 상승과 하강을 보이는데, 그 안에는 경제 활동이 있다. 처음 투자를 받아서, 땅을 사서 공장을 짓고 그리고 설비를 사고, 실제로 근로자를 고용하여 제품이나 서비스를 생산하고, 이렇게 생산된 제품이나 서비스를 소비하게 되고, 남은 이익은 다시 투자를 하여 생산을 늘리게 된다. 해당 과정을 위 표에 정리하였다.

사계절을 4단계로 분류 하였다.요소: 봄 -> 여름 -> 가을 -> 겨울 사계절은 따뜻한 봄, 더운 여름, 서늘한 가울, 추운 겨울이 순환한다. 이것을 위 표로 정리하였다.

사물(사건이나 물건)의 발전을, 시간의 흐름으로, 4개 요소로 분류 하였다.요소: 나타남, 기름, 거둠, 감춤사물(사건이나 물건)의 흐름을 보면, 처음 발생하여 나타나고, 시간이 흐르며 성장하고,  어느 정도 성장하면 점점 쇠퇴하고, 쇠퇴하다 결국은 사라진다.이 과정을 위의 표로 정리하였다.
